WIPO and OHIM sign agreement |

The Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market and the World Intellectual Property Organization have recently signed an agreement for trademark classification.
Both organizations want to agree on trademark classification.OHIM will share a databases in 22 languages which will containt about 100,000 indicationsper language. "OHIM and the UK IP Office have established a single common list of goods and services.Other offices,such as those of Sweden and Germany ,have joined the project." The organizations both have common goals . "In an effort to provide users with easy and standardised access to trademark procedures,and in view of the daily importance of classification issues in this respect,both organizations wish to consider the possibility of agreeing on a list of indications of goods and services acceptable to both organizations,in as many languages as feasibly and required ."
