Yellow Tail,a brand of wine produced by Casella Wines Pty Ltd has sued two other wine companies for trademark infringement. The two wine companies which supposedly infringed Yellow Tail's mark are Bronco Wine Co. and Barrel Ten Quarter Circle Inc.
According to an article fromwww.thenewlawyer.com, Casella Wines asserts that both companies used a label similar to its products.
In the legal document filed in the Southern District Court of Manhattan Casella Wines contends that  “Bronco’s use of Casella’s iconic square brackets and its use of Australian-centric wording in connection with the sale of Australian wine are likely to confuse consumers.”
"Casella Wines has felt it necessary to take steps to protect its Yellow Tail brand in the US, which it hopes to resolve by mutual agreement. Casella Wines do not have any further comment until this avenue has been exhausted.",added a company spokesman.
