UK IPO introduces new fees
Written by DKD Trade , Thursday, 16 July 2009
Trade Marks Directorate of the Intellectual Property Office announced new trademark fees from 1 October 2009.

The major difference between now and the moment these fees will be implemented is that applications made through the online application form will be discounted considerably.Of course,to benefit from this opportunity you have to pay the full price at the time of filling.
Another new trade mark application service is Right Start ."Right Start is a new trade mark application service which may be used as an alternative to the standard application service. With a Right Start application you initially pay GBP100.00 (which includes one class of goods or services), and GBP25.00 for any additional classes included in your application; this represents half of the standard application fees."
If you want to request an extension of time in tribunal proceedings or to extend a missed deadline in examination matters, you will also have to pay some extra money.
