ImageSparkFun ,an electronics retailer in Boulder, Colorado has recently recieved a letter from the law firm that represents SPARC International,in which they were accused of trademark infringement.

In the letter ,it was mentioned that SPARC is the owner of the SPARC trademark in the United States and many other jurisdiction all over the world.
"It has recently come to our attention that SparkFun Electronics is using the term "SparkFun" as a trademark in connection with the sale of computer hardware, including integrated circuits boards.Because the domainant portion of the SparkFun mark, namely,Spark,is phonetically identical and nearly visually identical to SI's SPARC mark and because it is used in connection with identical goods,we believe confusion is likely to occur among the relevant purchasing group."
Moreover, they asked them to "immediately take steps to transfer the sparkfun.com domain name to SPARC International."
