New Kids on the Block,an American pop group that enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a boy band which sold about 80 million albums worldwide, sued a production company for trying to trademark the band's name.

SM Productions wanted to register the band's name with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The same production company wanted to launch a new boy band and use the band name "New Kids on the Block" for them, trying that way to pass it off as the original band.
It's interesting to see what is going to happen in this case.
