Michael Jordan sued two supermarket chains for trademark infringement

ImageMichael Jordan,sued two of the larger regional supermarket chains for trademark infringement.

It seems that the two supermarket chains ,Jewel and Dominick's wanted just to congratulate Michael Jordan for his induction into the NBA Hall of Fame.
Jewel and Dominick's put out ads in which they wanted to congratulate Michael Jordan for his accomplishments.
But,Michael Jordan thought the two supermarket chains infringed its trademark and ,therefore,sued them.
With this suit,Michael Jordan wants only to forbid the stores from using his name.
