Target Corp. was accused by Coach Unit that it is selling handbags confusingly similar to its handbags,infringing that way its design.
According to an article from http://online.wsj.com ,the lawsuit said ""Target is not authorized by Coach to manufacture, distribute, advertise, offer for sale and/or sell merchandise bearing the Ergo designs or the Signature Patchwork designs."
On the other hand,a spokeswoman from Target contended that Target's policy is to respect others intellectual property rights.
"We are currently looking into this situation and working with our vendor partner."
