Apple,an American multinational corporation which designs and manufactures consumer electronics and software products,was sued by Cartier. Cartier,the luxury lifestyle brand ,claims that one of the iPhone's applications uses Cartier's trademark.The applications they were talking about were Digitopolis‘ Fake Watch and Fake Watch Gold Edition. This application was used in the iPhone AppStore. The interesting part of the story is that ,shortly after Cartier sued Apple over trademark infringement,they seem to have withdraw the lawsuit. |
