Global Warming accused of trademark infringement by Puma

ImagePuma,a large German multinational company that produces sportswear accused Global Warming,a South African distributor of footwear of trademark infringement. Puma contended in the application that the Global Warming's trademark is confusingly similar to its trademark and,moreover that confuses their clients ,making them believe Global Warming's products are in fact Puma's products .
The Supreme Court of Appeal decided that there are many differences between the two trademarks.
According to an article from www.businessday.co.za,before the Supreme Court of Appeal,Puma went to the High Court with the same problem.The high court decided also there are many differences between the two trademarks.
Therefore,Puma lost this trademark infringement case .
