Bill Owens is the Democratic Congressional candidate in New York's 23rd District .
He was recently accused of trademark violation by California Milk Processor Board .It seems that Bill Owens is using their "Got Milk?" trademark in his campaign . Owens seems to have an ad in which he asks dairy farmers "who's got milk for money?" . He used this words in the ad because he said he wants to end the price manipulation of milk . Here is a transcript of the advertisement:
"I'm Bill Owens. The next time you go to buy milk, you might notice something. The price is still high." Now if you're a dairy farmer like Sam here, you see something else. You're producing just as much milk, but getting paid less and less money. Somebody's price fixing, and it's hurting our dairy farmers. In Congress, I'll work to end the price manipulation so it's fair for consumers, and producers. I'm Bill Owens and I approved this message because we've got to find out, who's got Milk…Money." |
